Hyperlinks aren’t working in emails after update

hyperlinks will not work after the iOS 12 update. They used to open up in a new window/screen. Using iPhone 7.

Mail on iPhone Mail does not always display contents of embedded links that have been sent to me on my Apple iPhone 13 Pro. Instead it displays the entire hyperlink.
