I had this issue but I have now solved it. Make sure your Macbook bluetooth is on. Open Bluetooth preferences(You won't see the headsets just yet). While your headsets are off, hold the power button until you hear "Power On" but don't release just yet until you also hear "Pairing". The headphones will now appear in the "Bluetooth preferences section" where you can click on "Pair" and done you are good to go.

My Hesh 2 Wireless headphones refused to connect. I rebooted my MacBook Pro, no joy, no pairing. So I found kimobrian254's answer but my Hesh 2 Wireless headphones were already listed, but I tried it again anyway, but no pairing. Still, it did get me to the right place.

If necessary, delete the existing "Hesh 2 Wireless" entry and recreate it using kimobrian254's answer above. Ta da! I am paired again.
