How do I get rid of Searchitnow safely? I've seen various apps. but are they safe?

Please use the manual method or Malwarebytes. Do not download any other programs.

Using Malwarebytes appears to have addressed the issue in Safari, but it is still there in Google Chrome and redirecting searches to Searchitnow. So I guess it will just reinfect the whole system. Is there a further step to take?
