How can I access the contents of a package file in Mojave?

In the past we've been able to open a package file (in this instance, a Keynote file) by right clicking on the file and choosing "Show Package Contents" from the contextual menu. But in MacOS X Mojave, that doesn't seem to be available.

How can we view and access the components of a Keynote file?

Since Keynote v6.5.3 (Yosemite), the default document format has been single-file format (zipped, renamed to .key), and not package folders. Since the new Keynote document format change (Fall 2013 and later), the internal files are no longer readable XML format, and are binary encrypted in some undecipherable data format. In other words, useless to you, and if the document is damaged, it stays that way.
