I am currently availing of the iCloud Storage Plan of 50GB at 0.99 / month.
I now want to cancel the plan, but I am wondering after doing so will the extra storage I have bought disappear from my device hence it will go back to the 5GB free storage or will it remain on the device? I am using an iPhone 6 iOS version 12.
iCloud storage is a subscription service, thus you are renting it. If you stop the 50gB plan you will be back to the 5gB, and it was never “on” your device.
