Photo file size reduction without losing quality

Hi

We use Nikon camera and good resolution photos come with each photo size as 3mb to 7mb. How do we reduce file size to upload when some portal requires each photo file size can not be more than 300kb. We tried resizer app & image resizer app but they only create a zip file.

Tried exporting files and reduce size but thatalows us to do only 1 photo at time. How can we do the whole folder.

Thanks,

When you export the Photos out of the library change the JPEG Quality setting to get a smaller file size but at the same pixel dimensions;

Ypu'll have to experiment with the quality levels to get the 300 KB size you need.

Or you can try the free resize: Resize! It is very versatile:

In iPhoto or Photos for Mac you can select several photos at once to export them with a smaller file size. Just select a range of photos at once. Select the first photo of the range, then hold down the command key ⌘ and click the last photo of the range.

Now use "File > Export".
