Make sure this checkbox is checked in the Findker's General preference pane:

No Sd card reader on MacBook pro 16" Hi I currently use a 2015 MacBook Pro15". I use it mainly for amateur photography and website development I'm thinking of upgrading to a new MacBook Pro. I see that there is no SD card reader slot in new machine. This may be a silly question, but how do I get my pictures from SD card onto MacBook Pro 16". Also will all my external passport hard-drive storage things still be able to be used?

Photos App doesn't see videos on sd card I recently downloaded Big Sur on my MacBook Air. Since then I can't download videos from an SD card. The card appears on my desktop and on the photos app but in the photos app I get the message "No Photos" I did not have this issue with previous operating systems. It will read photos but not videos.

SD card files aren’t being read Hello, so I just had my 2020 MacBook Pro and I’m having a trouble trying to open my Canon camera SD card files on my mac. I’m using a special usb from apple for sd card reading and my mac is reading the sd card. BUT whenever I’m clicking on the files it is showing “ the following disk images couldn’t be opened “ “ no mountable file systems “. Anyone knows how to fix this problem?? Appreciate the help
