Are Replacement iPhone XS Max’s New or used/refurbished?

They are replaced with units from service stock. They may be new. They may be remanufactured. There is no way for you or anyone at Apple to tell the difference. They will all have serial numbers identifying them as replacements. Thats the only thing anyone can say for sure.

For the first few weeks after a product release there won't be any refurbished phones, so there is a high probability that it will be new. But no guarantee.

Apple replaces them with refurbish ones not new.

I was told by Apple all iPhones are replaced with new ones not refurbished.

hi can u describe on what bases they gave u replacement ? i have xs max not even 2 weeks old having camera issues and battery issues but they denied to give replacement and said give us for repair and we will return u within week.its **** services after spending £1250 they behave like they own us something.thanks

If you are dissatisfied with the suggested course of service on your iPhone, your first course of action should be to bring this to the attention of the store manager. I have alway found them to be most helpful.
