How does one switch from Metric to imperial in find friends?

Since my wife updated her iPhone to iSO 12 the distance in "Find Friends" is displayed in Kms. As we reside in the UK and we still use imperial measurement and "miles" how does she switch the measurement.

I should add my iPhone at iSO12 shows miles!
