FM Transmitter Problems

I bought my ipod in october of last year along with the griffin itrip. Even when it was new ,i was having problems getting the itrip to turn on, but i didnt think it was a big deal. As months went on, it just kept getting worse and now it doesnt work. One of my friends tried her WORKING itrip in my ipod and it didnt work either. I went and bought another brand new fm transmitter and that one didnt work as well. So i KNOW there is something wrong with the connection in my ipod, but it still charges on my computer and it doesnt seem like theres anything wrong. i only have problems when i try to use an fm transmitter. If i go to an Apple store, i dont know if they would be able to help me..i need advice!

This has happened with mine before as well. It is usually after I've plugged it in and gotten it ready for when I take off for the morning (it's sitting in sometimes pretty cold weather in the van). I have found that if I connect it and then begin to use it right away, I don't have any troubles with it, but if I plug it in and leave it sit for a while, then is when I have the trouble. If this doesn't fit your circumstances, then if your iPod is still under warranty, I would definitely take it to the apple store and show them that it is not working. See what they have to say.

Oh and sometimes it can help (or it has with mine) to unplug it and then plug it back in. That is what I had to do when I had trouble with it.
