If your battery is dead will find my I phone work
My iPhone was stolen trying to use find my iPhone but can’t from this iphone. Battery is dead can I locate it anyhow.

No. If the battery is dead, that means there is no power. If there is no power then the iPhone is not capable of connecting to anything, and as such it is not possible to send a signal with its location anywhere.
With a dead battery its no different than say a glass and aluminum box, or a brick at that point.
You need power to send a location.
