Downloaded a trial version app

Good day sir/ma’a,


i downloaded a few apps that are trial versions... next thing I know I am getting charge for the apps.... my question is how come itune are letting this apps to get through my paypal without asking me if I wanted the apps or not?.... I ended up paying around $60.... the biggest issue is how come you letting this company to get through my paypal account.... I know I put in my payment as PayPal but the concern is they can access it without me getting notified or getting ask if I want their apps or service...

1. This is a user to user forum. You are not addressing Apple here. As users we are not letting anything happen.


2. Apps may contain recurring subscriptions. Apps with free trials will most often automatically renew into paid subscriptions. The descriptions of these apps should disclose that unless cancelled they will renew and start charging you. You agree to this when you download the Apps. Read both the Apps description, and the iTunes Store terms and conditions so you understand what you are getting involved in.


3. It's your responsibility, and yours alone, to manage your subscriptions. Apple is not letting anything happen, they are just providing a platform for the apps to charge the amount you agree to when installing them.


4. You'll need to cancel the subscriptions yourself. Don't expect anybody else to do it for you. Follow the steps here to find and cancel them: View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support


5. If you need to fill in the following form to contact iTunes billing and request a refund: iTunes Store - Contact Us - Apple Support
