Excel spreadsheets and Numbers
I have opened many EXCEL spreadsheets using NUMBERS with great success but recently I am being presented with something that looks like this:
Any idea what's causing this?
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)
That looks like HTML. Are you sure you're not trying to open a file that is not an Excel document?
Do your other Excel documents open as you expect?

In fact, there are Microsoft Office (mso-displayed-decimal-separator) resources used in it that suggest it was an MS Excel file saved, or exported to HTML.
Microsoft has added even more features to Excel 2019 that will stress Number's Excel 2013 partial compatibility to the test when opening these newer documents.

They sure do. And that may be the issue. The website from which I attempt the download simply has an icon that indicates a download to XLS. Thanks.

Thanks. Good info.
