Why doesn’t my music show up in music app?

I just bought the Xs max and restored from an iPhone 7. None of my music shows up, though when going through the settings I can see I have the iCloud music switched on and I can see I have music downloaded yet none of it shows up. I’ve signed on, closed the app and opened it and nothing seems to work to load all my music. Thanks
