Problem with new Apple ID

Hi,

I have recently changed my Apple ID and password through Apple.com. Then I signed out from old Icloud account(in phone) and turned the phone off. When I turned it on, I could access my device by entering new ID and password. But, still it shows my old ID in Icloud, settings. As a result, I am not able to use appstore, facetime and others. What is wrong with the procedure I do? What should I do?

iOS version number 9.3.5

Thanks beforehand..

You need to sign out of iCloud as well. Go through all of the steps in here.

I'm confused by your post. You said "I signed out from old iCloud account (in phone)...but it still shows my old ID in iCloud, Settings."

If you are still seeing the previous Apple ID signed into iCloud under Settings, then you could not have signed out of it. Have you tried singing out using your new password, by going to Settings>your name, and scrolling to the bottom of that screen and tap Sign Out again.

You can also sign out of your old Apple ID directly in Messages under Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap on the Apple ID to sign out, and in FaceTime under Settings>FaceTime.
