I am attempting to verify my apple ID on my macbook air. It says to enter password and once I do I get a screen that says "Type your password followed by the verification code shown on your other devices" I then click okay and get the code sent to my phone. However, once I accept the code on my phone there is no other pop up screen to put the password+the code in.
This is what I do...
It first asks to "Enter Password" for the Apple ID
I do that then I get a verification code sent to my phone
Then another pop up says "An apple verification code is required, Type your password followed by the verification code shown on your other devices" The only option is to click OK
I go on my phone and click allow then it gives me the code.
However, nothing else pops up on my Macbook air to type in my password with that specific code
The box to put that in does not appear. Ive done that in the past but now there is no box that pops up for me to enter that.
It literally means in the box type both your password and the verification code, for example:
Password = BobbysCat
Verfication code = 123456
In the password field type - BobbysCat123456
