All my searches are people who want to delete songs from the list I just want to delete the list.
I assume it doesn't delete the songs.
Reordering the lists would work also .
I just want my playlists to be on top of the lists

To delete a playlist, smart or regular, right-click its name in the left sidebar, and choose "Delete from Library." This will remove the list, but does not remove the songs from your library.
If you don't have a sidebar, go to the View menu and choose "Show Sidebar." The proceed as above.

Actually just hitting the delete button brought up a window that asked if I wanted to delete the playlist .
Don't know why that didn't work earlier ,
So I guess control click is a right click?
Haven't used a PC in 30 years so Right Click threw me;)

On my iMac I use a Magic Mouse that has a normal (to me) right-click. But if you have a one-button mouse or just prefer to, then yes, CTRL-click does the same thing.
