My friend has an iPhone 6 Plus and doesn’t not have an option to turn on the 3D touch, I’ve checked. She has done the hard Reset and also a setting reset. Still nothing. My husband has the same model of phone and he does have that option. What else can we do?

A 6s Plus or newer is required for 3D Touch.

Edit. Didn't realize you were referring to iPhone 6. Ckuan is right. 3D Touch didn't become available until iPhone 6s.
My bad, I thought my husband has a 6 so I checked the model number. It is in fact a 6s

No worries, the 6 & 6s looks similar.
3D Touch first came with iPhone 6s. I do not know of any iPhone 6 or earlier that has this option.
There's no 3D Touch on an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
3D Touch is only available on iPhone 6s and later models, except iPhone XR.
