Twitter crashing on XS Max

Out of the blue, the Twitter app has been crashing every time I sign in to my account on my iPhone XS Max. The log in screen itself works fine, but as soon as my Twitter feed appears, it instantly crashes. It worked fine when I first got my phone, but like a week ago, it just stopped working altogether. Updated to iOS 12.0.1 and have the latest version of twitter installed. Tried rebooting the phone, deleting and reinstalling app, still nothing. Twitter app works fine on iPad. I still get twitter push notifications on my phone. Don’t know how to fix this issue. Twitter support never responded back to me.

Ok, I've might have found the problem and the solution.

I logged in with another account, and it worked fine, so I inspected mine. On my feed there where two people with strange characters on their names. Tried to block one at a time, and voila Twitter App started to work. This is the user that is making my App to crash (j̶̧̜̲͎̦́͐̋̈́̑̆͘̚͠a̵̖̹̣̋̉̿̈́̈́̇̍͋͝c̵̛͖̗͇̱̏̿̇̀̀̇́̇̽͐͆̏k (@jackjackvirus) | Twitter)

I suggest you to search for weird names at your feed from Safari explorer, or any other browser and block them to see if it works.

I couldn’t find any strange character on my feed.

However, twitter updated earlier today to v. 7.34 and now I’m able to load the app without it crashing. Thank you for your troubleshooting advice!

I’ve tried practically every troubleshooting step I’ve found on the internet. Force closing in the method you said, deleting the app, redownloading, restarting phone, etc etc. Nothings worked.
