Making ringtone from a song

How can I make custom ringtone from a song that i've purchased from iTunes store? Is that possible?

iPhone 5s, iOS 11.3

An iTunes store purchase is already in AAC format, but you need to make a shorter version. If you change your import settings to AAC and set suitable start and end times then you will be able to do that exactly as described. The source must be a locally downloaded file, not from the Apple Music service.

That didnt work quite well coz I cant create AAC version of the track. But my steps were a lil different. So I’ll reply back if I can handle it with ur guide.
