Blue Overlay on Screen

HELP!

I know this is a longshot but up until 3 weeks ago, I wasn't an Apple user at all! I have good tech knowledge with Windows, just not Mac so wondering if anyone can help me?

Having issues with MacBook Pro 2011.

Reset the PRAM for a different issue, now the whole screen has a blue overlay to it with tiny horizontal lines going across.

This is happening direct from boot and is showing on the Apple Logo and continuously from there. It was working perfectly until the PRAM was rest.

Anybody have any ideas on how to resolve this?

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Greetings ViperVenom25,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! I understand your MacBook Pro has a blue overlay with horizontal lines going across the screen.

I suggest to use First Aid with Disk Utility to help troubleshoot the issue. Further, I suggest to see if the behavior persists with using safe mode with your Mac. You can see those steps from the following guides: Repair a disk using Disk Utility on Mac & Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

Let me know how it goes from here.

Kind regards.
