i tunes credits
How do you redeem credits on iTunes account or are they not real? i know how to go to accounts and redeem however that is for a gift card - i actually have 3 credits - how do i use them?

Do you mean that you have song credits are already attached to your account? See View your store credit balance - Apple Support to check what is there. If so you simply buy a song and the credit is used ahead of any other payment method. If you have some form of voucher or code then see Redeem App Store & iTunes Gift Cards, Apple Music Gift Cards, and content codes - Apple Support to apply it to your account.
