About 2 minutes remaining - macOS Mojave

HI All,

Thanks in Advance.

I have just installed macOS Mojave and I am getting following message when I reboot (any time I reboot)

About 2 minutes remaining ........

Second thing is my screen freezes for 4-5 seconds when I shut down my MacBook.

Configuration:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

processor - 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5

memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. I booted the machine in safe mode.

It hanged showing me horizontal line under the apple logo. I had to wait for 5 minutes. Then the logo changed color in to red and orange flashes and finally logged in. Now it boots correctly in normal mode but takes a while. But when I try to boot it in safe mode again it does the same thing and takes long and the logo flashes 3 to 4 times and changes it color to red and orange. But when I shut it down it still freezes for 4 to 5 seconds. How can I verify I have correct(legitimate) version on my box?

Thanks,

KT

Is there a way I can check the I have legit files on my system (file size and version). When I downloaded the OS upgrade it downloaded 6gb file but on App Store the file size is 4.9 gb. System is really slow and Safari browser is not able to connect to any website. My Mac has been hacked before. I can post any files info you guys like to see, like list of Launch agents, daemons, device list , kernel extension. This is really so frustrating.

Thanks all again in advance!
