Security Passcode

I’ve forgotten my security passcode and several failed attempt. Apple said there is no way to get around it other than wipe the phone as new! Does anyone else have this issue? why can’t apple fix this???

If they "fixed" it, then any thief could steal your data by using that mechanism to bypass the security code. Your only options are here: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

In the future, either pick a passcode that you will not forget--but not something easy to guess like your birth date--or write it down and store it in a safe place,
