It doesn't seem to be that simple. Years ago when the ".mac" on an email was changed to ".me." I never liked it, but for some reason I am able now to get emails with the ".me" as well as the ".mac." Apparently MAIL thinks they are interchangeable, and they may have been YEARS AGO!! I checked again after I posted this request, and found that the ".mac" email to me by the company I told you about before (the company I am in touch with) was being used, NOT the ".me" address. So the person or company who is using this ".me" email address is probably justified in doing so, but these emails keep coming to me and I want them stopped. I don't know when this email (the ".me") address was dropped from the list of emails that I can have, but it must have been some time ago, and I was never forewarned. The company with whom I have this email, and this email only, is still sending me emails to that address (the ".mac" one), as I receive one fairly often, in fact, just the other day (10/7/18), so I know it is still active, but is not listed in any of the information that I have looked through on my Mac, or my iPad, and when I tried to add it, I was told I cannot use it. Something is fishy here, and it's one thing I DON'T need in my life right now.
So, Stuart423, please just tell me what to do to rid myself of this complication!
