Hi after updating my phone to ios 12.0 and 12.1 i am unable to connect my phone to itunes it said it A software update is required to connect to my phone
would you like to donwload and install this update now? after install nothing happen it said that fails something like that please help asap

Download the current 12.8 installer for iTunes from https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
Unlock your iOS device and connect it to USB.
Install iTunes from the .dmg that you've downloaded.
During the installation it should announce that a further software update is required.
Install that and iTunes should see your device.
You're not the only person who has to do this more than once before it took.
