I've got a master slide and I'm trying to link from it to various other slides. Each time I add a new successive link to the next slide, it changes all other previous links to the newly created one.

Let me guess: if you haven’t a backup of the older version 8.1 of Keynote, you only have to wait the fix. For the future, how can I save a backup of an app, like Keynote, without an installer? Should I drag and drop the app on an external storage?
All users should have backups of not only work files, but previous versions of applications for counteracting these problems.
If you use TimeMachine, all previous versions of Keynote will be kept untill the capacity of the drive is exceeded.
The simplest thing to do for Apple applications is to copy the file to an external backup drive. Apple application files should also be compressed (right click the file and select compress) so that they are not altered by automatic updates from the Mac App Store.
This is a known fault in Keynote, if you have a backup of 8.1 use that until Apple issue a fix.
Thank you Gary for the answer. Was going nuts trying to figure out what 'I' was doing wrong. Will have to scour through old non-updated devices for 8.1
