Do you mean when taking a photo or viewing a photo?
When taking a photo the phone has 2 settings, normal and telephoto. To switch between them there is a "button" in the middle of the screen labeled 1X or 2X. Tap it to switch between the views. The phone also supports so-called "digital zoom", which is really a misnomer; it really just crops the image by using less of the sensor. You activate it by touching the screen with 2 fingers and spreading them apart. Speaking as a photographer I never recommend using digital zoom; you are better off taking the image at full size, then cropping it later, as it gives you more control.
If you mean when viewing a photo just put 2 fingers on the screen and spread them apart.
