I had to change my icloud password. now I am trying to log back into my icloud account on my mac. I entered the new pasword. next I'm asked to "enter your mac password to continue". I am 100% sure of my mac password but no matter what after clicking ok I am stuck in the same loop of entering my mac password over and over.
How can I ever use my icloud on my mac again???

Try restarting the computer.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
