Why don’t I have auto low light fps

Saw a us cnet video that reviewed the iPhone Xs max camera and the auto low light function in the camera video setting. The result looked brilliant, so I went to turn it on my Xs max and the option is not there. What’s going on, was it removed in the latest 12.0.1 update?
