Enrolled in Apple Developer Program with wrong information. Didn't realize until after paying for it.

When my Dad and I set up my Apple ID and stuff a few months ago we put the account under my Name, Phone, and Email but set the birthdate to my Dad birthday (I'm 14 so there's a big age difference).

I wanted to publish one of my apps so I asked my Dad if he could purchase the paid Apple Developer program to which he agreed. He paid under his name which was different from my account name.

A few days later I get an email from Apple requesting a Photo ID because "an Apple Developer Program membership does not match the billing information you provided during enrollment." I didn't realize until after my Dad had paid that you needed to be 18 to sign up for the program.

Since I'm not 18 I cannot send a photo ID so what do I do?

Call Apple Developer Support and explain the screw up. They probably won't be able to fix it, but you will want to make sure you (and your dad's credit card) aren't flagged as a fraud attempt. That kind of fraud is a huge problem for Apple.

What you will probably have to do is get that purchase cancelled or refunded. Then create a new Apple ID for your dad and a new one for you with all the correct information. You will be able to legally use your dad's credentials as per Apple's policy. Once you turn 18, you can transfer your apps to your own developer account.

Hopefully Apple will confirm all of this. Just be aware that having to get a human at Apple to fix something is not easy. This may take some time to get corrected.
