Setting up iCloud on iPhone X
How will I know when I have set up the free 5GB of iCloud storage on my iPhone X running IOS 12?

If you are signed into iCloud, you don't have to do anything else. If you go to Settings>your name>iCloud, you will see how much iCloud Storage you are using out of the total iCloud storage that you have available at the top of the screen in a graph form.
