O.K., so now it's late 2018, I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8, no more support from Apple, no working browser, etc., etc., where do I go from here. Please don't say "buy a new computer".

If you're trying to upgrade the OS, back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download El Capitan from the Mac App Store.

Surely you know there is no App Store support on this model iMac anymore. That's why I'm asking questions for advice.
