How do I Rollback the recent Java Update
Java for Mac OS X v10.4 Release 5
It is causing my MacBook Pro to lockup. The only way to recover is to hold the power button down till it turns off, then start it again.
I'm developing software for Java that uses native libraries as well. I want to roll back the version of Java one Release, so I can test the problem against that release of Java. This problem wasn't happening before I updated to Release 5.
So after the recent update I'm using Java 5.0 1.5.0_07
I want to rollback to Java 5.0 1.5.0_06 or whatever the previous release number was. I am not looking to go back to 1.4.2. I need Java 5.
I have the installer for the Release 4 version of Java, but it refuses to install because there is a newer version already installed.
Does anyone know how I can get the previous version installed.
Thanks for any help
