Can't remember the password for my old Power PC Macintosh how do I by pass it log in screen?

How do I access my old Power PC but can't or will not accept the passwords I have written down. I think it is on OS10.4 or something close to that. I lost the OS installer disk as well.

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.4)

If you are in the US call Apple Customer Support 1-800-275-2273, provide the Serial Number and specifications of the Mac, and for a reasonable fee, they will supply a replacement set of system discs (if available).

The discs will be for the original version of the OS that was pre-installed when the Mac was manufactured.
