Upgraded to Mojave and Vlc Remote on iOS no longer connects to my iMac ?

Remote app The remote fix in the new Catalina version: "Adds support for using an iPhone or iPad to remotely control the Music and TV apps on a Mac", does not work yet. The remote app does not control the music app. Maybe some settings need to be changed? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
