This article makes no mention of how to actually help fix the issue. I have restarted my phone. Taken out the SIM card and put it back in and while restarting my phone. I reset the network settings and nothing works. Please tell me what's wrong and how to fix it? And quickly because I need my phone for both work and school. Thank you.

Call your carrier and ask them to reset your sim.
Same exact thing has happened to me. There's been a recall due to a manufacturing defect in certain iPhone 7 models that will require you to send it in for repair. Good luck. Here's the info: iPhone 7 Repair Program for "No Service" Issues - Apple Support
only solution is to
make a backup of phone
take phone to apple store
they will send it out to be fixed which will take week
they will give you a loaner
restore your phone onto the loaner
repeat again when your phone is fixed
