Not sure what to do? Phone X-RAY order

So I was thinking of buying the iPhone XR outright from apple because of the slow waiting times from other providers but then after I had ordered it an option appreared to reserve an iPhone XR in an Apple store with a provider I am on a sim only plan and upgrading to a phone and sim plan would be my preference as I could pay it off slower but now I have ordered it already. If I cancel it I am worried for some reason that things won’t work out.

Pick up iPhone 13 pre-order after the Sept 24th launch Hi there, I will be outside of the US for work until October 1st. I want to pre-order the iPhone 13 pro max for pick up near my place in Chicago (Lincoln Park store). Can I pre-order but then not pick it up until October 1st? Will the store hold the phone for me for a week if I do this or will the order be canceled? Thanks!
