How to download all music in iTunes to a new iPhone

I just purchased an Xs, & I’m trying to download all music in my iTunes library to my iPhone. Much of this music was imported through purchased CDs, etc. I’ve done it before (through a workaround in iTunes & sync before, but I can’t remember how. Does anyone remember how to do this? HELP?!! 😉
