How do I fix “network exception has occurred”?
Until today I have never had this problem. How do I fix it?
Unplug it from power. Keep it unplugged for at least 45 seconds.

Without knowing the context, we would have to guess ...
One guess is you should reset your router.
Another is you could do Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
