How do I set an iMessages notification sound to “group” into one?

When I chat with my friends on iMessages they tend to send like 3 short messages in a short period of time, but I get 3 independend sound notifications. It can get really annoying sometimes.

Is there any way to set it up in a way that when I receive multiple messages, I will get notified by a sound just once if the messages were within 5 seconds apart and not every single time a message gets delivered?
