You can remove the Apple IDs and you can erase the phone but if you have already created three iCloud accounts the phone will never be able to create any more. I've already told you the solution, which is for the new owner to sign in with an existing iCloud account. And before you sell it, erase it and don't add any accounts.

by create icloud account u mean accounts add icloud? where u add also google and yahoo account>??

Please see the Apple Help page I linked to above. And if the phone is giving you the exact message I quote above then it's absolutely impossible to create any more iCloud accounts using it, so any other information is irrelevant.

i mean by that when i created the apple id and signed into my apple xsmax

i made this ...

to Settings > [your name] > iCloud (or Settings > iCloud), enter your Apple ID and password, then turn on the features i want to use...

So all my apple ids are signed in with icloud...

it worked. so what the problem?

I really have no idea. You told me you were getting an error message, I explained what that means, I explained what you should do to be able to sell the phone and what you should tell the purchaser. I can't see that I have anything to add to that.

No.

ICloud Apple IDs you created on your device are tied to that device, not to your account. There’s no problem signing into existing different iCloud accounts!

You just cannot create any new iCloud accounts on that iDevice.

My English is not so good, sorry, but I'm sure you can understand me.

Thanks, best regards and best of luck.

so now when i want to sell my xsmax, if the customer want to sign in with a new apple id, he must first sign in with icloud

he put his apple id on another iphone activated and he enter settings icloud on

then it will works on the xsmax?

and if he had an old apple id with icloud it will works directly?

right?

i signed out from the device all the apple id, and removed my devices under devices on appleid.apple.com.

after 90 days i can add a new id? it takes time to deactivate id from the iphone?
