I just download Mojave and I have this message and see scree shots. Is this an update to the sodtware already? Can you tell me if this is normal or a duplicate download? I went into Apple stoe and went to Mojave and downloaded it from there and now its downloading from system preference? Is this an update or duplicate please advise asap. Thank you all for your help.

Thanks I think it was a duplicate but was wondering I do no see my DVD player in my launchpad like it was before and not in applications as well? Were did it go? Also did a first aid and saw snap shot 1 and snap shot 2 what is that all about? I am trying to figure out all the new stuff. I appreicte all your help as usual. Why am I seeing in first aid snap shot 1 and snap shot 2 and were would they be?

Also I am checking all my apps like my printer is working no problem but did notice Safari is giving me a rainbow spinning so I have to use Firefox are you having this problem or anybody? Is there a fix for it? If so how can I fix this maybe I should have waited for next update to Mojave but was home and it does take a lot of time so I figure I do it today. I am wondering if I am the only one getting rainbow spinning on Safari haave to use my Firefox.

wHEN i bougth this iMac I bought the drive for it as well and with update do not see the app for it in launchpad do you know were it could have gone I do not see it in applications as well and its connected.

As far as an app for the drive you bought, I have no idea what drive you mean or what app.

You don't have to get to it. It automatically runs when you insert a CD or DVD. However, a SuperDrive does not support Blu-Ray disks.
You're question is a little difficult to understand. There is only Mojave 10.14 unless you signed up for the public beta program in which case you may be getting an update.

There is no app for a SuperDrive.unless you mean DVD Player which is semi-hidden away here… /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/DVD Player.app
