How to get USB and HDMI audio?

I have a Mac mini (Late 2012) running Mojave 10.14 and I just hooked up a 4k TV to use as a monitor via HDMI. After doing so I for some reason lost my USB audio to my speakers. When I go to System Preferences, Sound, Output there isn't no longer an option for USB, how do I get that back?

Mojave thunderbolt displayport sound not working Hi, I use an iMac as a monitor which is connected via mini displayport using a thunderbolt to thunderbolt cable. Since upgrading to Mojave I can no longer listen to the audio playing from my Macbook through the iMac's speakers; this worked fine before the upgrade. The iMac shows up as an output device, but switching to it results in silence. Does anyone have a solution to this issue please?

BigSur doesn't recognize Thunderbolt Display Audio, USB, Mic, Camara Hi there. I just update my iMac to BigSur ... And when I connect the Thunderbolt Display, the only output sound is Internal display (iMAC) , and the Thunderbolt Display audio out don't appear in the option as the OS Catalina did. Also the MIC, Camera, USB. The image works great, but all the other stuff don't. Someone can't tell me how I can work around this issue? Thanks in advance.

If you are connected to the 4k TV by HDMI then your sound should be controlled by the TV. If your speakers have a 3.5mm jack then connect to the mini via that. If not, possibly get ones that do connect via a3.5mm jack. They vary in price.
