Apple watch stuck on erase all content and settings.

How do I return it back to normal? My apple watch series 1 is currently not paired to my phone and whenever i press "erase all content and settings" it doesn't complete the process and it goes back to giving me the options of "erase all content and settings" or "cancel". I've tried pressing cancel but it brings me back to the 2 choices again. I've tried a hard reset but its not doing anything. What else can I do?
