pages not working after upgrade to mojave
From using High Sierra I downloaded Mojave to my iMac (late 2013) and Pages will now not work
iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1
Hard to guess what yoiu are thinking or saying.
Do you think deleting an App makes it work?

Please, UPGRADE the app, Pages in this instance and delete the older version is what I referred too. Mojave OS does not allow the older versions to work.

Pages 7.2 is completely different to Pages '09.
Exactly ! The real issue is that 7.2 drops features and functionality that were in 4.3. With the upgrade, all 4.3 documents have to be revised/rewritten.
What do you mean by "I dragged and dropped my 09 old version?" Assuming that you are referring to the Pages v.4.3 application, where did you drag and drop it to?
Call Apple Support and they will walk you thru the process while shadowing your screen to assist...
I have followed every single one of the above suggestions. Fact is, Pages (7.2) refuses to open on my MacBook Pro Mojave. Obviously, we will have to turn to one of the numerous alternatives.
Pages 7 does not do MAIL-MERGE!! That's very important to me and my business!!!!
That's true. However, you can not do mail merge. I need that.
Only ”Pages” has issues in Mojave. Keynote and Numbers both still work fine. That’s the part I don’t get!
That would open Pages 7.3, not Pages 4.3.
