How to fix my Bluetooth connection on iOS 9.3.5

If you are attempting to pair the two devices for the purpose of transferring files or other information, the iPad will not support that Bluetooth profile, so you will not be able to pair the two devices for that purpose. That is not a problem with the Bluetooth to be fixed, that is the way it is designed.

I suggest you contact the phone manufacturer for assistance.
