Expired card

My account keeps saying that my card is expired. I have tried to enter 2 different cards thinking there was something wrong with one. Apple says they are both expired after entering and they do not expire for another year. What do I need to do to fix this?

If you get the 'none' option try removing the card from the account (assuming that you currently have one on it), exit the screen, and then try entering its details from scratch : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
