Everytime update is ready to install it is unable to verify update

Everytime I click on install update for iOS 12 on my iPhone 6 it always says unable to verify update

iPhone 6, iOS 12.0.1

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you can't update over wi-fi, try the option to update over iTunes.
