Hi, when I am walking and using the activity app on my watch OS12, if I stop for a few minutes the workout pauses but does not automatically restart when I start walking again. This is new behaviour for watch OS4 and I wanted to know if there is any way to disable this feature? Many times I am talking with a friend and forget to dismiss the dialog saying the workout is paused, so I miss the rest of my walk.

Hi, I know that this is the setting for turning off AutoPause for Running, but I said I was Walking, does it also work for that type of workout?
Yes. This happens with any activity. If the watch senses you stopped, it will pause the work out if set to pause runs. I hike a lot and if i stop to take a break it will pause.
